Victoria Shrug

 In Uncategorized

There are times in your life that when introduced to such a sweet and beautiful yarn that it stops you in your knitting tracks. It makes you sit and day dream ideas to capture the elegance and simplicity of its luxurious nature.
This is how I came to design this light and snuggly shrug. I wanted to combine the warmth and drape of Alpaca with an easy wearing contemporary piece….

The Woven Victoria Shrug

The Victoria Shrug is designed to showcase the stunning NZ Alpaca yarn by Outlaw Yarns; Vanitas DK.

KnowledgeThis yarn absolutely must make a feature on your needles. It is so soft yet full. Its sheen and gentle halo are devine. Oh and the knitting, this is happy happy days!

This pattern is the perfect 3 ball pattern and suitable for beginners – yet has a few options to challenge the knitter wanting to extend their skills.

The Woven Victoria Shrug

I challenge you to knit one shrug and not immediately crave another!

The Woven Victoria Shrug

This pattern is suitable for beginners up, those comfortable with knit, purl, cast on and off, and happy following a pattern. It has options to use more advanced skills including a provisional cast on and options to use kitchener stitch or 3 needle bind off.

This pattern was developed by Michelle Stewart aka Mitzy Moo Knits, and is available on Ravelry here

Hope you enjoy our new pattern 🙂

    Hello Germaine

I would say that is just shy of 19sts per 10cm. Hope that helps
