The infamous Knit Along of Summer 19/20 now in a kit!  This wildly popular blanket knit double strand for the BIG edition is not only fast to knit, but an utter delight to craft and cuddle!

BIG will be at least 120cm by 90cm, for all the cuddling up!

We recommend this pattern as an advanced beginner (intermediate), suitable for the knitter who can knit, purl, follow patterns of knit and purl, cast on and off. It is knit flat on circular needles and we recommend to knit on circular needles – so the large format blanket grows on your lap!  Check out tutorials for working two strands.

Needles: 9mm, can be knit on straights or circulars with  100cm cable

Skills: Knit, cast on, cast off, change colour, work two strands (balls of wool) together, follow patterns of knit and purl stitches

Pattern by: Michelle Joy (Stewart), written in a less traditional style to be less technical and give the crafter room to adjust the fit and style

Notes:

This blanket kit was launched as a knit-along with great success!  It follows the same pattern as the standard size, but is worked knitting two balls of Sumptuous at a time, to make a big delicious fast knit.  The BIG Edition has an extra panel than the standard.
