Beyond Puerperium is a very simply styled cardigan designed by Kelly Van Niekerk.  This design has been wildly popular and is now especially updated to suit our beloved Sumptuous wool range 🙂

Sizing; NB, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m, 2years

This pattern is suitable for knitters comfortable following a pattern with increases, working in the round (and in small circumference), backwards loop cast on and sewing up.  This pattern is a top down raglan construction.

Featured colour way is Rain / Silver + Blush

KNIT KIT INCLUDES:

  • 2 x  balls of Sumptuous 75grm in your choice of colours (if you are knitting size 18m up, you will need an extra ball of Sumptuous)
  • 1 x 3.75mm + 4.5mm Knitpro Symphonie Interchange Needles with 60cm cable (OPTIONAL)

Wool: Sumptuous; by The Woven Co

Needles: 3.75mm and 4.5mm circular needles (60 or 80cm).  You may wish to use double pointed needles for the sleeves

Skills: Knit, cast on, cast off, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2 stitches together, follow a pattern, a little sewing up

Notes:

Beyond Puerperium is a very simply styled cardigan, with a focal buttonband running along the raglan shaping line.

The pattern is top down seamless in construction, and offers a wonderful blank canvas should one decide to embellish.
